YDB has been a monumentally wonderful thing for our family. As someone who had never sent my dog or cats to a kennel or care of any kind, I was as nervous as you are about deciding whether or not this was a good fit for my dog. My boy is a hyperactive, overly affectionate German Shorthaired Pointer, so my fears were mostly about who he would annoy into biting or trampling him. YDB put all my fears to bed. He was welcomed with opened arms into their “squirrel program” for dogs who have a different than average play style. They have an extensive and thorough observation process to ensure your baby is in the correct play group and with comparable playmates. These observations are ongoing and may change as your dog grows and matures. For Dunkin to be tired takes many hours of strenuous exercise and attention, and he comes home from YDB, curls up on the couch, and rests- truly rests, all night. The staff treats your pet like their own. They take hundreds of photos and videos all day, so you can be sure that your pup is getting ample play time and plenty of exercise. I dropped my puppy to be groomed for the first time.  Teri was recommended to me, and I was not disappointed.  The first thing was that you could not bring your dog in without texting them first to let them know you were there.  I appreciated that they were concerned about the animals mixing being close together at the entrance.  Teri came out and went over what I wanted and also recommended additional input that I didn't think of but was great.  When he was done he looked awesome. My golden retriever puppy LOVES going here! The whole staff is amazing with the dogs and they do fun things to keep the pups stimulated and enriched. It is such a wonderful feeling to see how excited he is every morning for drop off. I also know from years ago with my black lab, that Terry is an excellent groomer and does a terrific job.
